Spread the Liebster love: the facts

Following on from our nomination for the Liebster Award yesterday by John Heatz, we’re now setting about fulfilling our obligations. We’ve already completed rules one and two by displaying the award on the site and thanking our lovely nominator so now it’s time to cover number three: the facts.

There seems to be no consistent information on the origins of the Liebster Award or its rules so we’re going with those John has posted on his blog. As part of the nomination, we need to write eleven facts about ourselves so here goes…

Facts about Kimmy:

Kimmy: “I hate cheese with a passion. Except cheesecake. Cheesecake is great.”

P-Diddy: “If you ever want to see Kimmy in a fit of hysterics just show her this video.”

W1ngman: “If making up songs and dancing in the kitchen was an Olympic sport, she’d win a gold medal.”

Facts about P-Diddy:

P-Diddy: “My biggest achievement in life is finding and killing all 200 pigeons in Grand Theft Auto IV.”

Kimmy: “P-Diddy is a very eligible bachelor. Available ladies, please feel free to email us for details.”

W1ngman: “Just don’t take him to a seafood restaurant on your first date because he has a real fear of giant squid.”

Facts about W1ngman:

W1ngman: “My GCSE results spelled out the word ‘FUDGE’.”

Kimmy: “I once found W1ngman in my kitchen laying on the floor. When I asked why, he said that if he was a cat this is what the world would look like.”

P-Diddy: “He suffers from kabourophobia which is a fear of crabs, especially giant enemy ones.”

Team facts:

Number one: We’ve known each for over eight years. Kimmy was introduced to W1ngman at a party, then she started working with P-Diddy shortly afterwards, and the rest is history.

Number two: We owe our success to the spicy beef noodles at Spicy Basil in Kilburn. If you’re in London, you need to make sure you check this place out.

Number three: We love the 1980s. If you’re lucky, we might share the photo of Kimmy dressed as an aerobics instructor, P-Diddy as Marty McFly and W1ngman as Gene Simmons.

So there you have it: twelve facts about the 1001-Up.com team. Ok, so it was meant to be only eleven but we’d thought we’d give you an extra one for free! We still need to cover the questions posed by John Heatz and our nominations, so keep an eye out for our next posts.
